Established circa 2012.

Tim Caraboolad - President

Tim Caraboolad was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts. While growing up, Tim was immersed in the construction industry. His Father, Geoff Caraboolad, founded Metric Corp. where Tim began working as a teenager. By 2006, he was working full time at Metric as an estimator and project manager. Tim’s development experience started with the management of small multi-family renovations in the Brookline and Newton area. Tim quickly transitioned to being part of the development team on much larger projects. Helping act as an owners representative on the development side to the project management on the construction side Tim helped complete multiple projects including the Michele in the North End, the Modern 2.0 in South End, and The Gatehouse in Charlestown.

In 2012, Tim set out on his own, and started Arc Design. In the past 5 years, Arc Design has completed multiple projects varying in size and functionality. Tim is fully immersed in the process; from development, to interior design, down to picking the final finishes - no detail goes unnoticed. Arc Design has set multiple records for achieving highest price per square foot in the South End of Boston, putting forward a better, higher quality product than his peers. More recently, Tim has started to turn more focus onto construction. He is contracting all of his own projects with a full team working beneath him. He has opened up opportunities in Montauk, Aspen, and Martha's Vineyard, and is responsible for the exponential growth Arc Design is experiencing.

Tyler Murphy (CSL) - Vice President

Like Tim, Tyler spent much of his childhood on job sites building homes with his father. Originally from Cape Cod, Tyler went on to attend Bryant University, receiving a degree in Business Management. Tyler later accepted a position at a large general contracting firm in Boston, working on over $300M worth of projects during his time there. His projects ranged from affordable housing community development and hotel construction to institutional science complexes – each bringing a unique set of financial and physical construction challenges. Taking lead roles in estimating, field operations, and project management on these jobs allowed Tyler to gain a holistic perspective for large-scale commercial construction. In an effort to return closer to his roots in residential construction, Tyler began working for Arc Design in 2015 as a Project Manager. He has since constructed multiple luxury residences in Boston and Marthas Vineyard.

Tyler is also a council chair for Boston’s ONEin3 Council, an organization dedicated to connecting Boston’s young adult population with resources related to: housing, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. Tyler has also taken a lead role in partnering with the Elizabeth Stone House, a local non-profit that serves homeless and at risk families. He has assisted with various construction-related issues as well as facilitating large donations for the organization.
